Can Lumia 1020 replace my FitBit Flex?

I love my FitBit flex and use it constantly to keep track of my daily activities. And since FitBit app was made available for Windows Phones, the FitBit accessory has become even more useful.

Yesterday Microsoft updated several of its core Windows Phone apps, including the Health and Fitness App, which now can track steps via pedometer and gps tracking. After updating the Health and Fitness app I went looking for the pedometer app to give it a try on my Lumia 1020.
•First of all the app is not easily discoverable, but to get there: •Launch the Health and Fitness app •Go to Options, then Settings, then open the My Profile pivot. •Enter the essential info about yourself •Then scroll down to the Personalize section and tab the GPS tracker to toggle off the annoying audio cues. •Next go back to the today's page of the Health and Fitness app and you should see two tiles: the GPS Tracker and the Cardio Tracker •The GPS Tracker allows you to start and stop tracking your activity and the Cardio Tracker displays the progress. Pin the GPS tracker to your home screen for quick access to controls.

The final step is to make changes to Lock Screen settings. Change lock screen the background to "Health and Fittness" and you are done.

Now your phone and you should see something like this:

I am not sure how accurate the GPS tracking is and it will take some side by side testing to see which product is better, however, since FitBix flex can only estimate the distance, the Health and Fitness app might be the winner.
